Had a good night overall, the event ran smoothly, honestly. It was a little crowded at times, so moving around wasn’t always the easiest, but yeah, still a solid experience.

I’ve always liked The Moth because when a story lands, it really lands. Some of them stick with me for days, and the site itself is easy to browse, with plenty to choose from.
That said, the curation feels kind of hit or miss. I’ll find one featured story that’s incredible, then the next one feels a little random or just not nearly as strong.
I still come back every now and then, but not as much as I used to. I just wish the featured selections were a bit more consistent.

I used to really enjoy listening to The Moth, but lately it’s been kind of frustrating for me. Some of the episodes feel like they take a long time to get going, and the audio levels seem inconsistent, so I keep having to turn the volume up and down while I’m listening.

The ads and intros also feel a bit stretched out compared to the actual stories, if that makes sense. I get that it’s a free podcast and all, but the overall experience just hasn’t been as enjoyable for me anymore, so I ended up unsubscribing.

I don’t know, I went in hoping it would feel worth the ticket price, but it just didn’t really land for me. It wasn’t terrible or anything, just felt a bit underwhelming, and by the end I was kind of thinking, yeah, I probably wouldn’t pay that much for it again.

I really enjoy the stories and they definitely keep me listening :) The only thing is the audio quality is kind of all over the place sometimes. Some episodes sound super clear, but others are a bit low or uneven. Still, I pop back in and listen now and then!

I wanted to like it, but most of the stories felt way too drawn out and kind of boring. I kept waiting for something to click or for there to be a real point, but it never really got there for me. I even looked at the support replies and they were basically like, “some stories are more slow-burn,” which I get, but these just didn’t pay off in the end.

Went to a Moth event last week and had a really good time. The venue was easy to find, which is always a small miracle, and the place itself was nice. Seating was decent, though some rows were definitely designed for people with no knees. Sound was clear, staff were friendly enough, and the whole thing ran smoothly. The drink line moved at the speed of a sleepy glacier, but whatever, not the end of the world. I’d go again.

The stories themselves were actually decent, but the host just would not stop talking. It felt like he thought he was the main event, which was a bit much. Some parts were rushed, other parts dragged, and the whole thing ended up feeling awkward for most of the night.

I wanted to get into it, but it just felt too heavy for me, I ended up feeling kind of low afterward.

I’m not sure if I went in with the wrong expectations or what, but the workshop just didn’t really do much for me. It felt a bit weak overall, and I left wondering if I missed something or if it just wasn’t that helpful.

I tried to cancel and get a refund, and it turned into a whole hassle. The website made it seem like one thing, but when I reached out, the responses didn’t really match that and I was left confused about what the policy actually was. Replies were slow too, so it felt like I was just going in circles. In the end, I still lost money, which was really frustrating. I probably wouldn’t book again unless they make the refund process a lot clearer.

I wanted to like this more because the concept is actually interesting, but a lot of the stories just didn’t feel genuine to me. Some of the speakers came across like they were performing or reciting something rehearsed instead of sharing their experiences. If you’re hoping for raw, real storytelling, I’d say save your time.

I really appreciate what The Moth does, and I want to support it, but using the website was frustrating. It shouldn’t be this hard to find a specific story or browse around without feeling lost. The pages feel cluttered, the search results aren’t very helpful, and on my phone everything was slower and took way too many taps. For something with such great stories, it feels only fair to make the site easier and more respectful of people’s time.

Love the idea of The Moth, but our seats were off to the side and the view was rough. Had to lean the whole time just to see the speakers. Sound was fine, but for the price, I expected a better view—or at least a heads-up when booking.

I really like the idea of The Moth , and most of the people I’ve come across there seem genuinely open and friendly . Some of the stories are really moving , and when the room has the right energy , it can feel like a warm little community .
At the same time , I’ve had moments where it felt a bit cliquey . Like the regulars already all know each other , and if you’re new , you’re kind of just hanging around on the edges . It’s not a bad experience , just not always as easy to feel included as I hoped .

I do enjoy the stories overall, so credit where it’s due. That said, a lot of them have started to feel kind of the same lately, which is a little disappointing. I’m sure mixing things up a bit isn’t impossible
